Pelham Eye Center works with many different vision and medical insurance plans. If you don’t see your plan listed, contact our office, and our friendly, knowledgeable team can help answer any questions you may have regarding insurance.
Open Access Benefits We utilize a special program called Anagram to file open access benefits for our patients with certain vision discount plans, including Eyemed, Davis and Superior Vision. This program allows us to inform patients of their exact reimbursement amounts and automatically submit optimized online claims on their behalf.
No Insurance, No Problem! We understand the cost of routine eye care and prescription eyewear can be concerning for families. We are always working to make sure our prices are reasonable and competitive. We accept all major credit cards and also offer Care Credit in office. We believe routine eye care is an important part of your overall health and work to make sure you recieve the care you need regardless of insurance!
Vision vs. Medical Insurance
Medical insurance is meant to protect you from financial loss due to unexpected eye injury or eye diseases, and it helps cover the cost of short-term and long-term medical eye care. Vision insurance, however, is a wellness benefit designed to help cover routine eye care and offer discounts on prescription eyewear. Our staff can help you determine when it is appropriate to use medical or vision insurance and can help you understand your insurance benefits.
